The Thang:
Today’s workout at The Creek was a little different than just the “run this route or loop for 45 minutes and meet back here” day. YHC was trying to keep up with the Floppys and Snowdens of F3 Summerville, and I was also inspired by the creativity on display last week at the Rooster running AO in Leesville (F3 Lexington).
I took some of the different types of runs and created a mock week of running.
Monday – Base Run – 1 lap around the pond – 1/2 mile
Tuesday – Interval Run – 1 lap around the pond with intervals starting and stopping with each lamp post – 1/2 mile
Wednesday – Boot Camp – SSH X 5 IC, TTT X 5 IC, Merkins X 5 OYO, Burpee X 1, FK X 4 IC
Thursday – Tempo Run – 1 lap around the pond – 1/2 mile
Friday – Rest Day – 10 count by Dunkin
Saturday – Base Run – 1 lap around the pond – 1/2 mile
Sunday – Long Run – 1 lap around the pond and 1 loop around the building – 1 mile
