There was an actual slight breeze this morning, it was glorious but still humid. I wanted to put out a different kind of challenge but I didn’t want to throw the guys off too much.
Snowden and I have been toying with the idea of having the ruckers race the runners. We haven’t quite nailed down a good challenge yet but today helped shed light on some parameters.
I had everyone start at the same location on the 1/2 mile loop. Runners had to complete 2 laps and ruckers 1. Ruckers are not allowed to run and the 1st group to finish wins. There was a batch of fast runners that caught us ruckers, but all the ruckers completed before all the runners. I also thought about switching groups afterwards, having the runners ruck, and the ruckers run, but that was sidelined for another day.
Overall I think the runners completed over 4 miles and the ruckers 2.5
Great push guys and thanks for being our guinea pigs.
