Interlude – Grab a partner (similar running speed) and a Block. We had an odd number so me and my invisible partner grabbed a block.
Enhanced Bataan Death March
We lined up as partners and started a somewhat traditional Mule Train with a twist. When the group started running, the last pair did five burpees before running to the front. On their way to the front, the tag the last group who then start doing their five burpees and so on. I can proudly tell you that we did this for twenty-two minutes.
The Fun Finish
Everyone stowed their blocks and, amidst some whispers of maybe being done, we headed to the fence at the far end of the AO and teamed up in fours for a relay. There was a tight finish but there can be only one winner – and those winners got to count off six count burpees for the the teams that did not win.

Devo – We are all leaders in our day and we have an impact on how other people’s lives feel – your role in the world is important. Embrace it and treat it with respect by treating everyone you come across good. For those who you see who aren’t like that (like some of those folks we saw on TV in Charlottesville) understand that something happened to cause them to feel the way they feel/ believe what they believe. The only way to sway their minds is be who we are – leaders.
