Preamble: I Q at Tremor once a month. And once a month I screw something up, either by getting people caught behind a train, getting lost, losing half the PAX, or something like that. Today it was just me forgetting to start my watch on time. That was pretty minor I suppose. A win!
Weather: 50’s or so. Brisk, Dry, Crispy, Autumnal. Equinoctial.
No FNGs

The Thang: Running. We will run the safest and least complicated Tremor route I know. This will help to ensure that I don’t screw up or get anyone lost. You also get a little bit of elevation change which is cool. The run was a reprisal of the progression run we did a couple of months ago. Picasso, Al Bundy, Repo, Hollywood and What?! kept a very interesting conversation going about run fueling. I learned about UCAN. Which is used by professionals and tastes like URUN apparently. (I made that joke up on the run. I was proud). Anyway, I was sold on not trying the stuff although Al Bundy is a big fan. Al and Repo are running some ridiculously long ultramarathon in a week or so. I’m proud of them. Matlock decided to run along side me. I thank him for that. He’s a funny guy. Very self deprecating and a better runner than he gives himself credit for. When we did the turn back I saw Floppy and Flo. I like Flo. he’s cool. He should come run more often. Floppy is cool too. I also got to meet the Mayor today. The mayor was a quiet fellow. But he was fast, and he followed directions well. And he knows Matlock so he must be alright.
Announcements: Sweet Tea, Swamp Fox Ultra, The Oak, Ruck for Hunger (Tell your FiA buddies!).

Devo by Snowden. Struggling with challenges in your life? Bring your friends in and let them support you. YHC was a smoker for 19 years. A couple of weeks ago I decided to start up again. Bad idea! Yesterday I decided to give it up again and I asked my wife, my friends and God to hold me accountable. I have good people in my life. I’m thankful for them.
