Preamble: The Creek is the F3 Goose Creek running AO. Come out and join your F3 brothers on Mondays and Wednesdays at 0500 for a tour of historic Goose Creek. You’ll see a pond filled with water. You’ll see historic homes that have stood for over 25 years.
No FNGs! Nevertheless we disclaim at the Creek!
Disclaimer: Remember F3 is peer led and may have serious side effects which can hurt. Be careful. F3 is not liable in the event of injury or worse. Work hard, but know your limits.
The Run: YHC should’ve checked the Q sheet before running 16 miles Sunday evening. YHC would’ve seen that there was no Q scheduled. YHC would’ve probably run the 16 anyway. YHC was not deterred, YHC grabbed the Q. No ones fault but YHC’s. YHC must ensure that the AO is manned. Also YHC had the flag. YHC knows you can’t have F3 without a shovel flag.
It was an eventful weekend of running for the PAX of F3 Summerville with many setting new PRs at the Sweet Tea half. Inspired by the runners I decided to go and run 16 miles. My legs were tired. I hoped that the PAX would not want to go too fast and leave me behind.
As we ran, Weewoo regaled us with stories from his week on Jury duty. We learned about medical options for people who get run over and are no longer able to perform their husbandly “biological tasks”. Absolutely fascinating. Simply riveting.
We ran 4.4 miles.
