Many know of Roy’s tremendous accomplishments on the field (including 2 Cy Young awards, 200+ wins, 2000+ Ks, 60+ CGs) but maybe his bigger legacy was off the field. He is well-known for having a very strong work ethic, being focused and intense, yet humble. So the Word of the Day is HUMBLE, which means “not proud or haughty; not arrogant or assertive”. The PAX were encouraged to try to be like Roy. #belikeroy
Moleskin:
The inspiration for this workout was not a pleasant one, but rather the recent passing of one of the greatest MLB pitchers ever, Roy Halladay. He was # 34 with the Phillies (and the exercise counts were some variation of 34 or those 2 #s). Great push by all!
