Intro: YHC rarely has the opportunity to visit Faultline because it starts at 0530. But this week, YHC is on vacation and could think of nothing better to do than to push, flip, lift, and carry heavy coupons. YHC also wanted to beta test something new. 14 men left their warm beds and M’s and hung out with a bunch of dudes this morning.
Disclaimer: No FNG’s.
Warmup: Squats/monkey humpers, merkins, calf raises, tempo merkins, Bobby Hurleys, stagger merkins.
Mosey to the cage. Rollout the 4 largest tires.
Thang: Form 4 equalish teams behind each tire. Flip the tires to the other end of the AO (about 30 yds). If you aren’t flipping, you’re doing burpees. Rotate as necessary. “We are competitive men, so let’s also consider this a race.” The winners got to do team situps inside the tire x15. The losers had to do team situps inside the tire x15.
Tire flip/burpee race back across the AO. The winners got to do box jumps on the tire x20. The losers had to do box jumps on the tire x20.
Next, each man grabbed a log and…*beta tested a movement across the AO.
Then, the PAX *beta tested a movement back across the AO. The winners got to do derkins on the tire x50. The losers had to do derkins on the tire x50. Modify as necessary.
Stow coupons.
Pullups x5.
Mary: rocking horse LBC’s x21.
Numberama, Namerama, Pledge, Announcements, Prayer Requests:
BOM:
Devo: “The heartfelt counsel of a friend is as sweet as perfume and incense.” Proverbs 27:9.
Moleskin: Thanks for playing this morning, men. Faultline is a strong AO with a nice diversity of ages. I think the range this morning was 20-55, with the “Respects” kicking ass.
*If you missed it, you missed it. But the test went well, so it will definitely reappear at a future AO.
