Conditions: 50ish and clear.
FNG: none, disclaimer given
Intro: Today YHC wanted to put something together with a multitude of meanings. Fun, Instructional, Tough and above all Balanced. Being at a smaller AO, the need for Q’s can be a struggle. So today I did a combo move of Q school and game night.
TTT x 10
World’s greatest stretch
Arms on 🔥 which consists of:
Arms up until we finish everything, if any arms drop during Arms on 🔥 everyone does burpees.
LBAC forward x 15
Shoulder taps x 15
T-Claps x 15
LBAC reverse x 15
YHC always likes to add some good pauses in between to make it suck even more.
Death By Jenga
YHC took all Jenga blocks and wrote exercises on each block. 16 different exercises with reps on 10, 20, and 30 and 6 bonus random exercises. All PAx we’re told up front, if the tower falls,….25 burpees OYO.
We went over proper Q procedures, FNG procedure, disclaimer procedure and exercise procedure.
Each PAX would get a turn to pull a block, and Q that exercise, giving them the choice of IC, on Q, OYO. They would announce the exercise to the proper standard and count it accordingly.
Now with that being said, this turns out to play just like a deck of cards wod. Probability is out the window. I won’t go over every exercise that was pulled, but I will say there were back to back monkey humpers, back to back curls, multiple tricep extensions, multiple mountain climbers and even a reverse bear crawl around the AO circle.
Xs and O’s x 10 (with long pauses on X’s)
Crab Cake x 10 on Q
Chilly Jack x 10 IC
The use of the game Jenga was to make it fun, but also to have all PAX focused on balance. See Devo.

Everyone needs balance in their life. I don’t mean equilibrium. I’m talking about work, family, social balance. We as men tend to spend more time in our life getting off track and out of balance that it starts to make things harder to get back on track and in balance. Find ways to balance your time with the kids, spend quality time with your wife, leave work at work, have your “me time”. F3 is a blessing for all of us because it helps with that balance. Working out early in the morning doesn’t take away from your family time. But be back in time to help your wife with the kids before they go to school or daycare. Have date nights. Family date nights, family game nights. If you see something in your relationship that needs a change, make the change without expectation! Never make the change because you expect something in return. Balance is the key for not only your happiness, but your families happiness as well.
