Devo: YHC has had the privilege of knowing quite a few folks that live in some scary places/closed societies. One of those individuals is named Akram. He is an Assyrian Christian in Mosul, Iraq. Each Christmas,Easter, and birthday, I get a FB message from him wishing me a good holiday and asking about my family. Despite all that he has been/ is going through, he knows that God has a plan and will watch over him and that a better life awaits. YHC has known quite a few folks like this and is always in awe of their faith. It has been challenged in ways I can’t imagine, but they still believe. We must always remember this during challenges in our own lives. God is preparing us for the next challenge, and doesn’t give us more than we can handle.

John 14:27-28

Moleskin: About 100 yards into the lunge walk, Luigi says, “A quarter mile is a long way, we’re not even halfway there yet.” YHC seriously considered an audible, but we completed it. A strong core is forming at The Jones, and Luigi and Lotta Love have definitely consumed the Kool Aid.
