Preamble: It’s Tuesday at Tremor. The Running AO.
Weather: Chilly.
There were no FNG’s.
Disclaimer: F3 is peer led, I’m no professional, run at your own risk. F3 is not liable in the event of injury or worse. That said, I gave the PAX some reminders about road safety. Run on the left side facing traffic, pair up with at least one other runner who runs at your speed. Make sure you have your reflective gear on.
The Run: The Alston Loop, Steady Pace. If you want to modify the workout for speed work, then run Luke and 4th slow and run Laurel and Bryan fast. Most decided to run the route at a steady pace.
Miles:
AC/DC, Pretzel, Peg, Snowden 4.4
High Stick, Dunkin around 3.3
Accouncements:
1/6 F3 Anniversary Party (YHC unable to attend due to Harbison 50K)
1/27 Charlie Post 15K/5K
Pledge/BOM/Devo
Devo: Gratitude. YHC was grateful to have good company out at Tremor, and grateful to be able to run and encourage the man next to me, and get encouragement from him. Grateful for a family that’s held together over the years. We aren’t necessarily grateful for tragedies that fall upon us or the ones that we care about, but we’re grateful for the opportunity to be able to help others, or be able to learn from tragedies, or to be able to speak up in protest when there’s an injustice.
Moleskin: Nice to have just about everybody join up for Coffee and Fellowship after the run. Peg wasn’t able to make it but Repo came out and joined us.
