A Fridged out and back to the Ditch

Conditions: Cold…really cold.  Temp said 27, but feels like 18.

FNGs: None.

COP:  Since it’s a running AO, the warm up was to make one loop around the pond.

The Thang:

Fairly simple out and back to The Ditch.

Mary:  No Mary at this running AO.

Namerama:  Banjo, Snowden, Weewoo

Pledge:  I’m a little rusty with Qing, so I forgot to have a COT.

Announcements:  Anniversary convergence and party 1/6

Devo:  Nehemiah 6 (paraphrased).  While Nehemiah was leading/managing the rebuilding of the wall, his enemies were trash talking about him and lying about him to try to get him to come outside of the wall (what existed of it), so that they could kill him.  Nehemiah knew enough to know that was a bad idea (maybe from being close to God).  Summary, haters gonna hate.  Don’t let folks get in your head, because it could just be them trying to kill you (even if it’s just professionally or emotionally).

Moleskin:  Since I was the slowest of the three, the guys were ever so kind to slow down their pace to around 10 min/mile.  Unfortunately that’s still a little fast for me, so by the time we got to the gas station on the way back I walked for a little bit while Snowden and Weewoo ran around the gas station for some extra steps so I could catch my breath.
