Intro: YHC’s objective in 2018 is to “simplify”. Simplify commitments, work, home life, finances, and also fitness. Workouts do not have to be complicated to be effective. This morning’s BC combined two simple routines – the Indian Run and the Usain Bolt. Oh, and we pushed a 7,200# truck in the process. 18 men did the harder thing, and are harder because of it.
Disclaimer: Given. Also, don’t get runover. No FNG’s.
Warmup: LBAC’s, Carolina drydocks, monkey humpers.
Thang: Grab a block and a partner and line-up 2×2 behind the truck. For the Indian Truck Run, the first 2 men will push the truck for a period, then roll off, grab the blocks from the next two men, and fall-in at the back of the formation. Push the truck to the far parking lot, about 1/3 mile away. Speedo volunteered to drive and was compensated with 20 burpees.
At the far parking lot, the PAX transitioned to the Usain Bolt. Each 2-man team will call an exercise for the PAX, push the truck to the opposite end of the parking lot, then pull the truck back to the start (a strap was attached to the hitch). Rinse and repeat until each team goes twice.
For the Indian Run back, all blocks were stowed in the truck bed to add weight and to allow the PAX to run faster. 4 men at a time pushed, rotating in and out as necessary. BTB was the driver, and received 20 burpees for his trouble. The trip back to the flag was significantly faster.
Stow blocks.
Mary: No time for Mary.
Numberama, Namerama, Pledge, Announcements, Prayer Requests:
Devo: “Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others too.” Philippians 2:4
I am proud to say, F3 is all about taking an interest in others. We see examples of that every day in the F3 world.
