IRON SHARPENS IRON

Temperature was in the lower 30s. The AO was muddy.

COP – Men divided into groups of three of similar weight for remainder of BC. Three man relay race around parking lot while partners completed Burpees on Q and then Flutter kicks on Q. Adjourn to grassy area. Men reminded of opportunity to do alternate work out beginning now or at any time during the beat down. All men encouraged to remove watches.

THANG – Men encouraged to work hard to make their partners better men. Six baseballs balls in a line. One placed 5 yards away from other. Timer set at I minute and 15 seconds with 15 second reset between each round. All three men start at closest ball. Man number 3 (runner) Runs around parking lot. Man number 2 (aggressor) is on his knees facing the ball 5 yards away. Man number 1 (defender) gets on his knees chest to chest with man number 2. Man number 2 has 1 minute and 15 seconds to reach the ball 5 yards away while man number 1 attempts to stop him. If man number 2 reaches the ball, he is rewarded by not having to complete the run for that round. Alarm sounds after one minute 15 seconds, rotate to next numerical position. Rinse and Repeat. Mid way through, Pax joined the Q for Burpees and Hand Release Merkins then back to previously described evolution for a few more rounds. Safety brief and demonstration provided before commencement. Intent is to “lock up” chest to chest with your partner and man handle him as you impose your will upon him or deny him access to advance to the ball. No hitting, slapping, choking, standing, wrestling holds etc. Manhandle your partner and make him stronger. IMPOSE YOUR WILL!

Mary – Relay race, Burpees, Flutter kicks, Seal Jacks

Count, Name, Announce, Pledge, Pray, Devo was early look at February Challenge; be deliberate and make time for the ones you love.

Moleskin – The numbers were up as 18 men posted to the country club to dance cheek to cheek F3 style. As seems to be the norm when living a country club lifestyle, several of the men arrived as the BC commenced. No men chose the alternate workout, but some did provide odd looks as the Q encouraged them to remove their very expensive watches. This is done not only for safety for all of the Pax, but to ensure the watches are not broken. The relay race and Burpees wwere a great way to get loose and get the blood flowing for the main event. CHEAT YOURSELF TODAY AND YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF IN SOME VERY COMPROMISING POSITIONS. This was a total body beat down as men tried to impose their will upon each other. Mumble chatter died down after a few rounds. Thanks to all of the men for embracing their brothers and the workout for the purpose of which was intended; make your brother better.
