Discussed, with the apparent epidemic of men in power misusing women, i.e. Matt Lauer, Bill O’Reilly, Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, etc. as a back drop.
In sharp contrast to those listed above, we are not to use our strength and power for our benefit, but to benefit those who are weaker and without power. (Psalm 82:3).
Who can we look to visit example? Jesus, who had all power, but used it for the great benefit of us, who are infinitely weaker by dying on the cross. ( Phillipians 2: 6-8).
Take away: We should use our power as men to be protectors and providers, not predators.
