The Thang: Two parts to this little diddy today. We’ll start with a fan favorite the timed Army PT test. Partner up, excecute Merkins and Situps AMRAP for two minutes. Partner 1 executes while partner 2 counts and monitors form and execution. Congrats to those who met the standards. There were a couple! YHC paired up with the FNG and YHC did not meet the standard for Merkins or Situps.
After that, we’ll execute a timed half mile run. Complete in 4 mins or less. YHC was the pacer. The vast majority of the PAX got it done in way less than 4 minutes. Bunch of show-offs at the Jones!
Second half of the Thang: Presidential Trivia!
George Washington was the first president of USA. In what year was the Governor of Washington State born? Answer 1951. Someone guessed 1952. Close but not close enough. 18 burpees as punishment. 6 count in cadence.
Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the USA. What is the capital of the African Nation of Liberia? You’re all WRONG! 35 count air squares. HOLY MOLY I picked a random exercise from the exicon and this thing SUCKED. Hold peoples chair with no support, do overhead claps in cadence. YHC had to take a break in the middle. I was about to give MERLOT. We pushed through to the end, the pain was bad.
James K Polk was the 11th president of the USA. He added a great deal of land to the US and defeated Whig candidate Henry Clay in the general election. He also lowered tarrifs. There’s no question here, it’s just a fun fact. Low Crawl 25 yards, crawl bear back.
YHC lost the weinke. Someone must fill in the blanks, we did something else that involved duck walking and broad jumping for 25 yards.
USAIN BOLT: Because YHC enjoys the creativity of the group and running. Also when a Q needs to kill time the Usain Bolt is good fun! We did flutter kicks, and monkey humpers, and merkins, and hydrualic squats, and I saw some goose poop.

FNG Carlos was named Suave today by Lotta Love. Carlos comes to us from Venezuala, he told us about his love for basketball and family, but Lotta Love was enthralled by Carlos manner of speaking which was deemed Rich and Smooth. Thus Suave was given.
