The Thang:
YHC took the PAX on a stroll to the Concrete Beast where we undertook a veritable potpourri of exercises intermingled with a good bit of running. The exercises included Deconstructed Burpees, Reverse Bear Crawls up the ramps, WWI Sit-Ups, Burpees, American Hammers, Plank, People’s Chair, and Bear Crawls up the stairs.

Devo: YHC read a brief portion of “Pilgrim’s Progress, Book 2” for the PAX. In short, it describes a man who was constantly looking down raking sticks and dirt while God held a crown above his head. The man was unable to look up and see the crown, constantly focused on what he was raking. The lesson here is that the things of this world can easily take our hearts away from God causing us to become solely focused on them. In comparison, the things of this world are sticks and dirt compared to the glorious riches God has for us if only we would look to Him.
Moleskin: YHC had only one plan: To run to the Beast. After that it was relatively on the fly. It was heavy cardio with enough variety of exercises to keep the PAX sufficiently entertained. Reverse Bear Crawls up the ramps are always a plus to get the mumble chatter rolling.
