Count, Name, Announce, Pledge, Pray, Devo – 1 Timothy 5:8. “Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” We discussed our aging parents and how we needed to ensure their well-being in the later stages of life, just as we anticipate our children will do for us. Men were encouraged to discuss their parents desires with them and develop a plan for a mutually agreed upon course of action.
Moleskin – YHC picked up the Q due to brother Woody being on the IR. The intent was to push the pace of the Indian run for a couple of hundred yards and then regroup for exercises or for the entire group to circle back and pick up the 6. This would allow the faster runners to be challenged as well as the slower men to still participate in the entire BC. Far too often, we find ourselves going for a “Mosey or slowing the Indian Run down to a point of diminishing returns for some of the Pax. That was NOT a problem this morning. Increasing the pace definitely allows you to utilize lung capacity and muscles that are not used during a normal BC. The men truly pushed themselves throughout the run and the exercises along the way. The Jail Breaks at the end allowed each man an opportunity to utilize any remaining fuel. Try as we might, we were no match for QC as he lead most of the runs. Great push by all who posted.
