4 Men showed up at Tectonic to sacrifice themselves to the mosquitoes this morning.

 

 

The Thang

Intro concept for morning. “You control your reps and workload”

Plank

While rest of group remains in plank (changing positions every 10 seconds but never ceasing), each PAX takes a turn running to block pile and retrieving 1 block then return group. Hold plank until last PAX returns with block.

Tabatas (with a Hot Tub twist – typical tabata is 20 seconds WORK, 10 seconds REST, repeat x 8)

1st Tabata

20 Second – SSH, 10 second – Burpee

Recover x 1 min while introducing next tabata

2nd Tabata

20 Second – LBC, 10 second – Hello Dolly

Recover x 1 min while introducing next tabata

3rd Tabata

20 Second – Merkin, 10 second – Superman hold

x8

Recover x 1 min while introducing next tabata

4th Tabata

20 Second – Goblet squat w/ block, 10 second – plank

x8

Recover x 1 min while introducing next tabata

5th Tabata

20 Second – Curls w/ block, 10 second – static hold w/ block (elbows @ 90 degrees OR overhead)

Recover x 1 min while introducing next tabata

6th Tabata

20 Second – Low Country Crab, 10 second – Reverse plank

x8

Recover to Stow the blocks, return to shelter

7th Tabata

20 Second – Pull up, 10 second – Mountain climber

Moleskin

Great push this morning by attending PAX. This workout involved high work rate w/ very minimal recovery time. Especially when enforced by a watch going off for each transition. After almost 5 years of attending and Q’ing F3 workouts, it can actually be tough to come up with workouts from time to time. YHC pulled this workout out of the depths of previously Q’d work. Nice and terrible all in one to re-visit this one.
