The mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.
66°. Heavy Rains. High Winds. Offshore Lightning.

NOTE FROM NAN’TAN – MAJOR DAD
TCLAPS to the 79 men that posted for the Anniversary Convergence. This is an increase from 2018, so keep pushing those EH’s and saving those men from being Sad Clowns. Special TCLAPS to Stalker, Jingles, Goose and Hot Spot for leading the BC and to Hospice and Cannoli for putting together the anniversary party.
As we begin a new year, if you have not yet read Freed To Lead, carve out some time to make that happen.
In addition, I challenge you to not only push yourself physically in 2019, but also in other aspects of your life (family, spiritual, service, financial, career). BE A HIM!
Have a great day, Major Dad
1st F UPDATE – MUSCADINE
- Q school: will be held on Saturday 9 February at The Ditch to begin directly after the workout. Reminder: The Ditch Saturday workouts begin at 0600 and end at 0700. We hope to start Q school NLT 0710 and should be done NLT 0800. Muscadine will be leading this Q school. Please respond to the Facebook event if you will be attending. If anyone would like to attend a Q school, but cannot make this one, please get with your AO Q to request another one for your area.
- 500 PAX challenge: The goal is to get 500 men to post to a F3 Summerville/Goose Creek AO. Lofty goal? Yes, but let’s see what the men of F3 can accomplish. Included in this challenge will be a double down of any kind. For example, if someone ran before or after a BC, those numbers count. Post as much as possible during the week of 21 Jan through 27 Jan!!
- Shout out to Good Times (JJ Jenkins) for pushing PAX to do a weekly Push up, Sit up, and Pull up challenge. The challenge: you have 2 minutes for each exercise…do as many as you can! Post it to the Facebook Challenge page (Good Times will need to invite you) by Sunday of the week and see how you have improved or what you need to work on. Good push Good Times!
2nd F UPDATE – CANNOLI
Thank you to all of the Pax who attended both convergence and Anniversary party. Both were a great success and the retirement ceremony for the flags was, once again, a big hit. Great memories told around the fire and lots of emotions through families words. We are very grateful to all the pax who brought a side dish and helped out for the cookout.
We had a overwhelming response to Redos request for party needs for his M. We have communication thread going for those helping out. They are not the only family enduring this unfortunately. Anyone who has any knowledge of needs or “one and done” opportunities through out the region please reach out to Hospice and Myself.
3rd F UPDATE – SPLINTER
We have a new Co-Q for 3rd F! After 4 years of serving as a 3rd F Q Cousin has decided to step aside and open up an opportunity for another PAX to step up and lead; thank you for all you’ve done for our region Brother! With that, I’d like to have you all please welcome Olaf (Matt Brown) as your new 3rd F Co-Q!
Olaf and Splinter are working together with many exciting opportunities for the region; please reach out to either of them for questions and comments regarding the 3rd F! Thank you men for the opportunity to lead!
