There are high consequences to our beginnings. We form ahbits quickly, some say in three weeks or less. The life habits formed early in marriage, the sturdy habits formed as freshmen, the first impressions made in new jobs or neighborhoods, are huge.
First impressions are decided in the first twenty seconds of face-to-face contact, and a negative first impression requires nine ours of interaction to re-frame.
starting deserves our best efforts and our focused attention. you can’t steer a parked care. There has to be movement. you have to start in order for anything to happen.
God shows up when you start.
I believe God’s blessing waits on the other side of surrender. The quicker you cast off the lines and sail out of port, the sooner you’ll see His hand. When you make your plans, do your best preparation, get the right people on the bus with you, and get started. God will shouw up, if you’ve surrendered the whole deal to Him. That doesn’t guarantee success, but it guarantees you won’t be alone.
What have you been thinking about starting but haven’t? Is now the chance to start?
