Devo: Discussed the importance of being intentional about maintaining the relationships that we develop through F3. Reach out to those that we workout with and offer help to those who are reluctant to ask for help. As men we often try to do everything on our own when there are many people that would love to help and this would in turn foster those deeper connections and meaningful relationships

Moleskin:   So many times the workout is about the workout, but with there only being two of us today, it was a time to also get to know each other and begin to develop the relationship that was talked about in the devo. Get to know the people you meet with, develop that deeper level of trust, be an impact on their life and allow them to impact yours.

Participate at your own risk.

COP:
TTTx15, arm circles-OYO, Moroccan Nightclubx13, Doggy Paddle x10 (I could not get the cadence to save my life. Thanks Tinder for calling the cadence.)

The Thang:
Started with a challenge I saw on “The Strongest Man in History.” Hold cinder block in front of your chest. Friar Tuck won the contest and got to be captain for what was next. We then played a game of 21. Since we had an odd number we played 4 on 3 most of the time. Teams were Olaf, Friar Tuck and One Bar vs. Redo, Tinder, Bed Pan, and Bubblehead. At half time we did 5 minutes of LBC’s. Team RTBB won the game. It was not a pretty site.

6 Minutes of Mary:
No time it took the whole time for the winning team to reach 21.

Numberama:
7

Namearama:
Bedpan, Bubblehead, Redo, Olaf, Tinder, Friar Tuck, One Bar.

Announcements:
Convergence on Monday and 9/11 Heroes Run next Saturday.

Pledge of Allegiance: Done with pride.

BOM: (Prayer)
One Bar

Devo:
One Bar

Moleskin:
I’m glad we do not record our workouts because that was embarrassing how bad we are at basketball. If you would like a visual watch the episode from “The Office” when they played basketball against the warehouse workers. However both teams were like the office workers team.

The mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.

Conditions: Moist… Really, really moist

FNGs: None

COP:  SSH (IC) x15, TTT (IC) x10, Imperial Walkers (IC) x15

The Thang:

Pax grabbed a block and regrouped near the wall at the basketball court.  YHC has his interval timer and can of weinkes.  Intervals were 12 rounds of 4 exercises starting at 15 seconds for the first round, increasing by 15 seconds until 90 seconds for two rounds, and then back down to 15 seconds.  Each round had a new weinke pulled randomly from the can and exercises were started OYO and YHC would call cadence during the last 10-20 seconds so everyone finished strong.  Time ran out before last two rounds were completed.

Mary: None…

Numberama: 7

Namerama: McFly, Bedpan, Sofia, Bubblehead, One Bar, Beanie Baby, Olaf

Pledge and COT

Announcements: Father’s Day activities (Convergence, Hot Pursuit 5k, look for event at the farm)

Devo: From recent message at church: Someone or something is propping you up, but is it pushing you towards God?  Does it remind you of who you are?  Does it prepare you to receive from God?  Does it help you complete your purpose?  YHC brought up things like music, friends, and even ministry opportunities, that while aren’t bad, they aren’t bringing him closer to God or supporting him in his call to brotherhood in 2019.  We have to remind ourselves of what and who God is calling us to be and make sure that our actions are supporting that mission.

Moleskin:   Pax were sluggish in the beginning and at the end were even more so.  Rests were abundant during the longer intervals and the moist air had everyone sweating bullets and losing weight…
